safety precautions
As the coronavirus has become part of our daily life, we would like to inform you about our current sanitation procedures and plans in place, as to provide for your safety & wellness during your visit to Restore Skin Therapy (RST). Please know that as a fully licensed facility with the State of Indiana Board of Cosmetology, our professional staff will continue to practice universal precautions in our facility as set forth by OSHA and the State of Indiana.
In addition to our required practices of universal precautions, we will implement the following if needed:
Masks are optional.
Our practitioners will always be wearing a mask.
In order to protect Restore Skin Therapy staff and our clients, we encourage you to wash your hands with soap and water as soon as you arrive for your appointment.
Our reception room furniture will be arranged as to facilitate 6-feet of separation.
Our staff will be utilizing PPE “personal protective equipment” for your continued safety and sanitize everything you touch, including door- knobs, bathroom fixtures, counters & hard surfaces, pens etc.
Your therapist will maintain the cleanliness of the treatment rooms using EPA registered/hospital grade hard surface disinfectants, which have been proven effective against coronaviruses.
For the foreseeable future, we will limit salt-room sessions to people that know each other.
All in studio transactions will be completed with our “touchless” swipe card electronic payment system.
Please follow any Corona policies and procedures for Marion county.
We have discontinued our mandatory temperature check and Covid form but reserve the right to bring it back if covid numbers start to increase.
As part of our regular illness policy we ask that you not attend sick. If you or anyone in your household has Covid symptoms of any kind, please postpone your appointment for at least two weeks. You will not be charged for last-minute health related cancellations, and we thank you for caring for the whole of our community.
This is a challenging time, and many of us are feeling the strain and anxiety about how to best proceed with life while navigating this pandemic; however, rest assured that our facility will continue to offer a safe place for all of our clients to receive their necessary care.
Many thanks to all our clients who take measures to protect us and one other. We see you, and we appreciate you. By maintaining these sanitization procedures, together we will cultivate a safer environment for all of us.
Honor your body and nourish your skin.
In Gratitude,
The Restore Skin Therapy Staff
